GLASSBORO, NJ(February 12, 2007) –Destination ImagiNation (DI), a non-profit organization that develops creative problem solving skills in young people, announced today it has received a $10,000 grant from Staples Foundation for Learning. This grant will support Destination Imagination’s educational programs that enable students from kindergarten through college to participate in projects that develop the skills necessary for academic, job and personal success.
“This grant will be used to further our mission to teach creativity, teamwork, innovation, project management and other important life skills to our participants in all 50 states and 19 countries,” said Bob Purifico, president, Destination ImagiNation. “Staples Foundation for Learning’s gift will touch many lives in a positive way.”
